Honda Launches 2027 CB300F Twister With Flex-Fuel Capability: Petrol & Ethanol Power, New Features and More

Honda has introduced the 2027 CB300F Twister in Brazil with a major focus on fuel flexibility, safety and everyday usability. The updated motorcycle retains its 293.5cc single-cylinder engine but now combines FlexOne petrol-ethanol technology, HSTC traction control, USD front forks, dual-channel ABS and a six-speed gearbox.

The biggest talking point is the motorcycle’s flex-fuel capability, allowing it to operate on petrol or ethanol in varying proportions. However, the 2027 CB300F Twister has been introduced in Brazil and selected Latin American markets; Honda has not confirmed an India launch at this stage.

2027 Honda CB300F Twister: What’s New?

CB300F

Honda has made several changes to the new Twister without completely changing its basic mechanical package.

The major updates include:

  • FlexOne petrol-ethanol technology
  • 293.5cc single-cylinder engine
  • Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
  • New Showa USD front forks
  • Dual-channel ABS
  • Assist and slipper clutch
  • HISS engine immobiliser
  • Emergency Stop Signal
  • Updated digital LCD instrument console
  • USB Type-C charging
  • Revised fuel-tank extensions and bodywork
  • New sportier CB300F Twister S variant

Flex-Fuel Engine Is the Biggest Highlight

The most important update is the FlexOne technology.

The 293.5cc engine can run on petrol, ethanol or different proportions of the two fuels. Honda says the 2027 CB300F Twister produces slightly different outputs depending on the fuel being used.

Engine293.5cc293.5cc
Maximum Power24.5 CV24.7 CV
Maximum Torque25.6 Nm26.2 Nm

The ethanol setup gives the motorcycle a small increase in peak output and torque compared with petrol.

What Is Flex-Fuel Technology?

Flex-fuel technology allows an engine to use more than one type of fuel without requiring the rider to manually switch between separate engine systems.

For the CB300F Twister, Honda’s FlexOne system supports petrol and ethanol blends. This is particularly relevant in Brazil, where ethanol is widely available.

Honda has also previously used its flex-fuel experience in other markets, including India. In fact, Honda had introduced a flex-fuel version of the CB300F in India capable of running on fuel containing up to 85 percent ethanol.

Traction Control Added

Another major upgrade is Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

The system monitors rear-wheel traction and can reduce excessive wheelspin during acceleration. This should be particularly useful when riding on surfaces with less grip or when opening the throttle aggressively.

Adding traction control gives the 2027 CB300F Twister a more premium safety package for the segment.

New USD Front Suspension

Honda has also upgraded the front suspension.

The 2027 CB300F Twister gets Showa upside-down front forks, replacing the previous conventional setup. The new arrangement not only gives the motorcycle a more premium appearance but is also intended to improve front-end feel and riding dynamics.

The rear continues to use a monoshock setup.

Dual-Channel ABS Now Standard

Safety equipment has received another important upgrade.

Honda has discontinued the earlier entry-level CBS version in the Brazilian lineup and introduced the CB300F Twister ABS as the more accessible variant. The range also includes the sportier CB300F Twister S.

Both versions receive ABS, strengthening the motorcycle’s braking and safety package.

Assist and Slipper Clutch

The six-speed transmission is paired with an assist and slipper clutch.

This setup reduces clutch-lever effort and helps control rear-wheel behaviour during aggressive downshifts. For city riding, the lighter clutch action should also make frequent gear changes more comfortable.

HISS Security System

Honda has added its Honda Ignition Security System (HISS) to the 2027 model.

The system uses a coded electronic key to help prevent unauthorised engine starting. It adds another layer of security to the motorcycle beyond the conventional mechanical lock.

Updated Digital Instrument Cluster

The motorcycle continues with a digital LCD instrument panel, but Honda has improved the display with optical-bonding technology.

The console provides information such as:

  • Speed
  • Engine rpm
  • Gear position
  • Fuel level
  • Clock
  • Odometer
  • Average fuel consumption
  • Instantaneous fuel consumption
  • Estimated range
  • Average speed

A USB Type-C charging port is also available.

Sportier Design

Honda has not completely redesigned the CB300F Twister, but several styling changes make the 2027 motorcycle look more aggressive.

The fuel-tank extensions are sharper, while the front mudguard and other body elements have been revised. The USD fork setup also adds a more premium streetfighter appearance.

The Twister S gets additional styling touches, including unique graphics, blue metallic paint, red wheel-rim detailing, a red rear suspension spring and a sporty rear-seat cowl.

2027 Honda CB300F Twister Dimensions

The new motorcycle remains relatively compact and lightweight for its engine size.

The relatively low weight is one of the motorcycle’s biggest advantages for city and everyday riding.

2027 Honda CB300F Twister Price

In Brazil, the 2027 CB300F Twister is priced from BRL 26,880 for the ABS version, while the Twister S costs BRL 27,680. These figures convert to roughly ₹4.9 lakh and ₹5.1 lakh respectively, although a direct currency conversion should not be treated as an expected Indian price.

Will the 2027 Honda CB300F Twister Launch in India?

This is where Indian buyers need to be careful.

Honda has not officially confirmed the 2027 CB300F Twister for India. The motorcycle has currently been introduced for Brazil and selected Latin American markets.

Honda previously sold the CB300F in India and even introduced a flex-fuel version. However, the CB300F and its flex-fuel version were subsequently removed from Honda’s Indian lineup in 2026.

So, an India comeback remains speculation rather than a confirmed launch.

Why the CB300F Twister Could Be Interesting for India

If Honda eventually considers bringing the updated motorcycle back to India, the combination could be attractive.

The bike offers:

  • Flex-fuel technology
  • Lightweight construction
  • Nearly 300cc engine
  • Traction control
  • USD forks
  • Dual-channel ABS
  • Six-speed gearbox
  • Slipper clutch
  • Modern digital console

It could potentially compete in India’s competitive 250cc–400cc street motorcycle segment.

However, Honda would need to price it competitively because Indian buyers have several established options in this category.

Honda CB300F Twister vs Earlier CB300F

The new model isn’t a completely different motorcycle, but Honda has addressed several areas where the previous CB300F could be improved.

The biggest changes are traction control, USD forks, standard ABS, HISS, updated electronics and revised styling. The core 293.5cc engine architecture remains largely familiar.

Final Verdict

The 2027 Honda CB300F Twister is an interesting update because Honda has focused on meaningful equipment rather than simply changing the styling.

The FlexOne petrol-ethanol engine remains its standout feature, while HSTC traction control, USD forks, dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch and HISS make the motorcycle more competitive in the modern 300cc streetfighter category.

For Indian buyers, however, the key point is that there is currently no confirmed India launch announcement. Honda previously offered the CB300F Flex-Fuel in India, but the model was discontinued from the Indian lineup in 2026.

If Honda decides to bring the new Twister back to India at an aggressive price, its combination of flex-fuel capability, lightweight design and premium safety features could make it an interesting rival in the 250cc–400cc motorcycle segment.
